This position is held by a semi-skilled worker who can confidently read assembly drawings and electrical schematics, determine the tools and procedures to use in fabricating the job, then perform quality checks to determine conformance with published standards, and make calculations to verify quality and productivity standards have been met.
Skills/Experience:
This is a semi-skilled position requiring 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Soldering candidates are expected to have IPC Certification or have the skill level to immediately receive IPC Certification.
Mechanical Assembly candidates may be expected to work from assembly drawings and schematics to assemble equipment, including wiring.
Must demonstrate during the initial interview the ability to read assembly drawings and understand procedures written in the English language.
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required. IPC Certification
