Benefits Overview:
This position is a Union position with the eligibility of union membership, company-paid pension contributions, and daily overtime on the 60th day of employment. Eligible for Union medical coverage, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits. After 90 days, union employees are eligible for PTO & Holidays.
What the Ideal Candidate will do the following tasks:
Build machines & large assemblies using power tools and hand tools. Electrical (panels and cables) assembly. Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Spray paint machine parts. Forklift and overhead hoist operations to move materials and finished products. Crate building. Basic facility maintenance tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Person - permanent resident or US Citizen
- HS diploma acceptable with vocational/technical school training and equivalent combination of education/experience.
- 3 years of experience with an industrial/mechanical background.
- Knowledge/understanding in machine assembly.
- Read & understand basic mechanical blueprints & electrical schematics.
- Experience with electrical panel wiring.
- Must be able to use tools such as hand tools, torque wrenches, and power tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions in English.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 10-25 lbs. on a regular basis, sometimes up to 50 lbs.
