Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Electrician to join our dynamic team at a state-of-the-art bulk liquids terminal located in the heart of Louisiana. This opportunity at Willow Glen Terminal involves the safe, efficient, and quality-conscious installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation components associated with facilities and equipment. This includes a focus on ensuring the continuous operation and performance improvement of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures, and the calibration and preventive maintenance of various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures.

· Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and components, ensuring compatibility and safety.

· Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on electrical/electronic equipment and components.

· Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with codes.

· Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts for emergency situations.

· Implement improvements and modifications to electrical systems as assigned.

· Troubleshoot and schedule electrical maintenance, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and local laws and regulations.

· Participate in safety meetings and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses.

· Assist in operations as requested

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience preferred.

· Valid Driver's license.

· Minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance, with experience in heavy industrial equipment preferred.

· Proficiency in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database management.

· Knowledge of National Electric Codes and ability to read E&I diagrams and drawings.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities and creativity in improving equipment performance.

· Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Ability to perform job duties with little or no supervision and work in a team environment.

· Ability to read and comprehend written communications.

· Ability to accept supervision and direction and to work efficiently and cooperatively with other people.

· Must be able and willing to work overtime and to respond to callouts to perform work as needed.

· Must be able to work outside and inside in all weather conditions.

· Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 25 pounds or more.

· Must possess and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card as required by USCG/DHS regulations.

· Journeyman electrician or equivalent certification preferred.
