The Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installationproperty electrical systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Construction, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices
- Interpret blueprints, manufacturers' specs, written and verbal instructions
- Maintain 3 phase systems and equipment
- Installing power supply wiring and conduit such as: EMT, O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut
- Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as: switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies
- Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
- Directing or training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry appliances
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays and be on-call.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Five years Electrical experience required. Knowledge of OSHA guidelines required. Lock-out-tag-out, Blood Borne Pathogens and other safety training is required.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
10 hour OSHA Certification
Valid Drivers License
