Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems - Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly and safely - Identify electrical problems and implement appropriate solutions - Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures according to code requirements - Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget - Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards Requirements: - Proven experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work - Knowledge of high voltage systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams - Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles - Familiarity with frame carpentry for mounting electrical components - Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
