Maintenance - Electrician
Position Function
BPSD is seeking a Licensed Electrician to join our team. As a Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in various settings. The ideal candidate will hold a valid electrician's license and have a strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide efficient and effective solutions.
- Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to plan and execute tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed within specified timeframes.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and ensure all work adheres to safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid electrician's license as a Licensed Electrician.
- Proven experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to work in strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Equipment
Uses hand tools of trade and related power equipment, including testing instruments such as ohmmeter, voltage and amperage meters.

Travel Requirements
Frequent travel between schools, or between schools and central offices, may be required.
