Job Summary:
Under general supervision, complete job duties that include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies. Perform test and verification procedures for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical components and subassemblies using defined production procedures.

Job Description
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, complete job duties that include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies. Perform test and verification procedures for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical components and subassemblies using defined production procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test individual sub-assemblies
- Perform basic soldering
- Perform precision cleaning and preparation of components for assembly/usage in subsystems or end-product
- Perform complex bonding and curing procedures
- Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation
- Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED required
- 2 - 4+ years of Electrical/Mechanical assembly experience
- Soldering and crimping experience required, certification preferred
- PCB assembly experience preferred
- Optical assembly experience a plus
- IPC certification 610 or 620 a plus
- Demonstrated ability to learn on the job
- Meticulous attention to detail
