Job Description
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, complete job duties that include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies. Perform test and verification procedures for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical components and subassemblies using defined production procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test individual sub-assemblies
  • Perform basic soldering
  • Perform precision cleaning and preparation of components for assembly/usage in subsystems or end-product
  • Perform complex bonding and curing procedures
  • Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation
  • Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct

Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma / GED required
  • 2 - 4+ years of Electrical/Mechanical assembly experience
  • Soldering and crimping experience required, certification preferred
  • PCB assembly experience preferred
  • Optical assembly experience a plus
  • IPC certification 610 or 620 a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to learn on the job
  • Meticulous attention to detail
