Alarm/Electrical Installation Technicians Requirements:
- 5+ years experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and on rooftops.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide repairs at the Service Technician level.
- Ability to comprehend and use controls and wiring schematics.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documentation.
- Ability to legibly produce all required paperwork and record-keeping on a timely basis.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Neat, clean, courteous, and professional behavior and appearance at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
