Description of Role
SRI Telecom is seeking an experienced Electrical Project QA/QC Technician with Commercial Construction experience to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross functional project teams. This will be a Full Time, Direct Hire position with Gaylor Electric, a multi-million dollar, well capitalized, commercial electrical construction outfit. You will provide full quality support for project teams requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of NEC and AHJ requirements. The successful candidate will have been involved in quality assurance and control of electrical/instrumentation work in refineries, gas plants, & data centers.

Salary:
This position pays an average of $90,000/year depending on experience, certifications, and location
Responsibilities:
- Interpret contract drawings, schedule, and quality control plans relating to complex construction projects.
- Coach and teach crew members new specifications, code changes
- Maintain records/verification/test paperwork and supply as requested
- Maintain attention to detail while maintaining ability to meet deadlines
- Must Display sound judgement, decision making, problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Read and understand Electrical Design packages for project
- Read/understand/interpret job site specifications
- Set and maintain Quality Control goals through training
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience as a QC in an industrial setting, as well as a background in commissioning.
- Prefer to have somebody with E&I QA/QC certifications.
- Proficient with the latest NEC, AHJ requirements with a strong emphasis on Classified locations. NEMA Standards Publication VE for cable tray.
- PMP certification a plus
- Strong communication skills used for reporting, documentation, and other communications.
- Must be physically able to climb 160 plus feet up and down ladders of towers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bi-lingual a plus
