We're looking for an Electrical Testing Technician with NETA Level III or IV certification to serve our rapidly growing client base in the Atlanta metro area.
The Electrical Testing Technician is a full-time position with base pay ranging from $40-57/hour (based on experience and qualifications), relocation assistance, and a company vehicle provided. A typical work week is 50-55 hours with overtime pay and four or more days in the field. While some travel may be required to facilitate company growth, trips are limited to two weeks. 75% of your time will be spent working locally. The ideal candidate is a team player with NETA Level III or Level IV Certification who enjoys Electrical Testing, reporting, and working with clients and is equally excited about mentoring and developing other technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all Electrical Testing procedures. Develop new procedures when necessary.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in power systems.
- Understand and analyze electrical data. Prepare reports that can be understood by persons without electrical/engineering knowledge
- Professionally interact with customers and foster partner relationships that exceed expectations.
- Manage kick-off, status, and closeout meetings as necessary to run project teams and lead junior technicians to successful project completion.
- Be a subject matter expert on power systems testing who enthusiastically assists and advises team members
- Ensure a safe working environment for all involved. Comply with all safety requirements.
Requirements:
- NETA Level III or Level IV Certification
- 5 or more years of Electrical Testing experience
- Must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours to achieve customer success
- Able and willing to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time
Preferred qualifications:
- Relay Technician
- Electrical Engineering degree
- CDL license
