About the Role:
Currently our client is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to assist their engineering team. The Electrical Technician will be updating service and repair records, maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery, and running diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to showcase or sharpen their technical skills.
To ensure success as an Electrical technician, you should have excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, and electrical components as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Details:
- 100% adheres to all safety requirements (PPE, Hardhat, Harness (fall protection), lockout/tagout…)
- Assisting the installation and operational team with new equipment installation and ramp-up.
- Assist with suggestions, changes and improvement to electrical design and maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on electrical systems and supporting equipment.
- Developing and implementing electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining electrical service records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies in the hardware/supply room.
- Given feedback and instruction to supply room and purchasing in minimum quantities for replacement items.
- Work with operations and quality to optimize electrical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of electrical machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
Requirements for the role:
- 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician in manufacturing setting
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Preferred not required
- Communication skills
- Adaptability to everchanging environment
- Availability to work Night Shift Swing shift see details below.
- Associate’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering technology preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Proficiency in PLC/diagnostic testing software.
- Analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, communication/collaboration skills, and organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to perform electrical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
Schedule:
- 6-month project on Night shift, then dayshift

Compensation:
- $24-32 per hour
*Compensation structure is based on market, skills, and experience along with other key factors. Please note candidates will be evaluated on these factors to determine actual pay. Total compensation can be larger when factored in with benefits, bonuses, or commissions if applicable.
