Electrical Panel Technician

Responsibilities:

• Review for accuracy Engineered drawings and BOMs prior to wiring panel.
• Gather components according to BOMs.
• Layout panel to be drilled and taped.
• Assemble electrical components as designed for panels.
• Report all design and production discrepancies to supervisor.
• Supports facility housekeeping and Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and procedures through department activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in basic electrical. Must be able to use wire strippers, hand drills, air wrench, hydraulic knock-out, basic hand tools, voltage, AMP meter and chain hoist.
• Read and understand electrical schematics, perform basic math, literacy is necessary.
• Work in various positions…kneeling, stooping, bending. May lift up to 70 pounds. Occasional work outside. Must be able to work in shop conditions including shop noise, dust and fumes and ambient temperatures.
• Must be able to work normally with all approved shop safety equipment and personal protection equipment.
• Valid Georgia drivers license may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
