Lineworkers are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the cooperative's electrical distribution infrastructure. This position works 10 hours a day, four days a week, and focuses on the construction of rebuilding electrical distribution lines.
Qualified individuals must be a graduate of an accredited lineworker program and must meet the following requirements:
• Journeyman Lineworker candidates must have completed an approved apprenticeship program and hold a valid journeyman lineworker certification and a valid Class A CDL.
• Apprentice Lineworker candidates must be in the third year (or higher) of their apprenticeship program and must be able to attain a Class A CDL within the first 90 days of employment.
