Electrical Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with at least three years of experience to join our dynamic team at our facility in Aberdeen, NC. The successful candidate will have a background in low voltage electrical circuit design, radio frequency (RF) engineering, and digital and analog communication systems, with proficiency in Altium and Fusion 360 software.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop circuits for our push-to-talk devices using Altium and Fusion 360.

Generate engineering documentation, manage digital product information, and establish systems and protocols for the Electrical Engineering team.

Conduct tests and evaluate systems and components, ensuring product performance and reliability.

Collaborate directly with our production supervisor and external contract manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.

Stay updated with industry regulations to ensure compliance.

Work closely with the product team to innovate and improve our product offerings.

Conduct system analysis and identify potential areas of improvement.

Supervise and manage a Junior Computer Engineer with circuit design experience, including mentoring, assigning tasks, and ensuring project goals are met.

Oversee and manage the engineering budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.

Proficiency in Altium and Fusion 360 software.

Solid understanding of electrical circuit design, radio frequency (RF) engineering, and both digital and analog communication.

Familiarity with two-way radio systems and push-to-talk devices.

Proven experience in generating engineering documentation and managing digital product information.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Experience in supervising or managing a team is a plus.

Experience in budget management and financial oversight.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
