Warrant Technologies is seeking a Electrical Engineer for our government customer in Crane, IN
Position Description:
Warrant is a dynamic and innovative defense company committed to delivering cutting edge solutions in the field of engineering. As we expand our capabilities, we are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer specializing in Network on the Move (NOTM) systems to join our team.
Position Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Mobile Communication Systems: Engineer, design, and implement electrical systems for mobile communication and networking applications, with a focus on Network on the Move (NOTM) technologies.
Network Protocols and Integration: Develop and implement networking protocols suitable for dynamic and mobile environments.
Integrate various components to ensure seamless communication in challenging conditions.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including software developers and other engineers, to achieve project goals.
Position Requirements:
At least 8 yrs experience as an Electrical Engineer
Proven experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for mobile communication and networking
Strong proficiency in network protocols, antenna design, RF engineering, and satellite communication
Experience with embedded systems development and programming
Knowledge of power systems and energy-efficient design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (for example CompTIA Security+) - willing to obtain prior to start date.
