A leading manufacturer in the greater Fond du Lac area, regarded as one the best equipment brands in their vertical recently created a new opportunity to join their team as a full-time Electrical Engineer in a key role planning programs, designing and developing electrical sub-systems and components for their top rated products and services.
As Electrical Engineer you will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary, Sustaining Engineering team aligned closely with an internal customer group, in a continuous improvement and highly supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical sub-systems.
- Develop drawings for electrical components and electrical systems.
- Develop schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD, Creo, and PADS.
- Set-up and describe test specifications for electrical and electronic controls.
- Specify new components and new microcontrollers for new designs and development tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Electrical Engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Motor drive experience is preferred.
