Electrical Designer

AJH Design is seeking an Electrical Designer and drafter with 3 to 5 years of electrical design experience.
Candidates must be familiar with building electrical distribution design, able to work independently, and
capable of on-site field observations.

Knowledge of building electrical power supply, emergency power, lighting distribution, fire alarm systems,
technology and security systems are required. Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project
requirements and team communications. Candidates should be capable of completing project designs
and documents with limited guidance. Designers must be capable of drafting design documents utilizing
Revit, as well as multi-tasking and detail oriented.

• Design and documentation of building electrical systems.
• Client interactions.
• Project quality and coordination reviews
• Project budgeting.
• Project team coordination.
• Site inspections and evaluations.
• Project coordination with consultants.
• Design document quality reviews.
• Deliver products with a high degree of technical accuracy.
• Construction Administration.
• Project schedule control.
• Project communications.

Education and Skills:

• AAS/BS in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years Revit or AutoCAD experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
