ELECTRICAL DESIGNER (HAMMOND, IN.) Candidates with on-site experience is required - This is because candidates will be working closely with client and construction team for site walk down, and field verification as required in coordination with home office based electrical and instrument design team. - Strong Electrical Designer exp. 10+ years working in a refinery or industrial environment, petrochemical, mid stream, upstream, EPC Project experience- On-Site Role- Degree not required- Need a commitment of at LEAST 2 years - long term contract- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Dialux for lighting design, AVEVA E3D for 3D modeling, Navisworks Simulate 2020 ( for viewing models) However, the site Electrical Designer is not expected to work on above software as most of the design work either will be done in home office or outsourced. However, it is preferred if they have the experience and knowledge to work on above software to design raceway including cable trays and conduits, schematics and wiring, lighting, grounding and EHT for refinery projects in compliance with NEC. They must be familiar with NEC requirement for electrical design for oil and gas projects. Candidates will be working closely with client and construction team for site walk down, and field verification as required in coordination with home office based electrical and instrument design team. Candidate will be providing design and engineering support to construction team with the help of home office-based design team. Good communication skills and work in team environment is a must to be successful for this site-based position.
