Job Description
Summary: Seeking an Electrical Design Technician to design Life Safety Systems, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP for advanced facility projects.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
At least 3-5 years' experience with AutoCAD (Revit experience preferred)
Experience in systems design with Fire Alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation, Gas Detection, VESDA, Access Control, CCTV
NICET Level II certification
Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
Familiarity with Fire/Life Safety systems and equipment from various manufacturers
Industrial design experience
Responsibilities:
Draft and design Life Safety and Security Systems for semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, etc.
Deliver complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads
Create 3D model space using AutoCAD and Revit MEP in collaboration with architects and engineers
Design Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, Security and Intrusion detection systems
Perform calculations applying NFPA codes and standards to model content; specify equipment as directed by engineering staff
Pay: 28-37

Pay Details: $28.00 to $37.00 per hour
