Electrical Customer Service Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Customer Service Technician, your main duties will include:

• Executing startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on the company's equipment, covering static transfer switches, power distribution equipment, and remote power panels.
• Providing on-site customer support and assistance through email and phone communication.
• Maintaining accurate and timely service records in the system.
• Responding promptly to emergency situations and critical incidents.

Experience, Skills & Education:

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Service experience with electric power systems (Required).
• Proficiency in electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills (Required).
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics (Required).
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC-based programs (Required).
• Safety awareness and knowledge of electrical personal protective equipment (PPE) (Required).
• Clean driving record (Required).
• US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status (Required).
• Associate degree in an electrical field (Preferred).
• Electronics or electrical training from military service (Preferred).

Work Location:

• Initial training will be conducted at Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio.
• Field service work will be performed at customer sites throughout the US and Canada, requiring travel.
• Weekend or holiday work may be necessary at times.
