Primary Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Customer Service Technician, your main duties will include:
- Executing startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on the company's equipment, covering static transfer switches, power distribution equipment, and remote power panels.
- Providing on-site customer support and assistance through email and phone communication.
- Maintaining accurate and timely service records in the system.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations and critical incidents.
Experience, Skills & Education:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Service experience with electric power systems (Required).
- Proficiency in electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills (Required).
- Ability to read diagrams and schematics (Required).
- Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC-based programs (Required).
- Safety awareness and knowledge of electrical personal protective equipment (PPE) (Required).
- Clean driving record (Required).
- US Citizenship or C1 Permanent Resident Alien status (Required).
- Associate degree in an electrical field (Preferred).
- Electronics or electrical training from military service (Preferred).
Work Location:
- Initial training will be conducted at Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio.
- Field service work will be performed at customer sites throughout the US and Canada, requiring travel.
- Weekend or holiday work may be necessary at times.
