Job Description
TEC GROUP IS SEEKING A TALENTED ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR RAPIDLY EXPANDING MANUFACTURING CLIENT'S TEAM. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ROLE WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Route wires, install and assemble electrical/electronic components.
Assemble and test control panels.
Manufacture custom wiring harness to fit equipment.
Cut wire and cable and terminate to components.
Crimp terminal and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping device.
Route, tie wrap, and attach wire to terminal points, according to layout, using soldering gun and hand tools.
Use testing devices such as ohm meters, voltmeters, and ammeters.
Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, and wire harness.
Drill, ream, countersink bolt holes in parts, using drill presses and power drills.
Fabricate and form parts, coils, and structures using drills, calipers, cutters, and saws.
Ability to use hand and power tools, as well as operate forklifts and cranes helpful.
