Summary:
The Evening EKG Tech is part of the overall health care team responsible for Cardiology related services. Responsible for performance of EKG. This includes the completion of high-quality tests, report generation, record keeping and all related support activities. Assists the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as needed. Functions independently with minimal or no supervision and, may coordinate others, as applicable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Technical Diploma - Electrocardiography (EKG)
Credentials:
- Basic Life Support certification from Red Cross, American Heart Association or Military
Experience:
- Electrocardiogram (EKG), Medical Assistant or related experience preferred, but not required
