- Manage the calendar and all scheduling for the Director of EID and all EID projects / activities
- Act as sounding board and thought partner
- Keep the team up to date, reminding them of tasks and project timelines
- Perform administrative tasks for EID Director, such as procurement, expense reconciliation, writing, editing, presentation and agenda creation, data collection, project tracking with project management software (Asana)
- Participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of EID fellows and new EID staff
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of GRID Alternatives’ EID Director and Team by identifying potential roadblocks and then create solutions to run and organize these areas
- Support the EID team with development and administration of EID team goals, systems, structures, and projects
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with folks working on EID projects throughout GRID and keep a pulse on how GRID is moving forward towards its EID goals
- Support EID team meeting by helping draft agendas and sharing participants; time keeping, note taking, and tracking action items post meeting
- Commit to ongoing personal internal EID work (anti-racist/internal privilege work)
- Coordinate with other EID team members to hold presence in organizational meetings and hold the org to its EID values
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality with all EID relationships and communications
- Collaborate with the Administrative Professionals Team at GRID to develop strong relationships with other Executive Assistants and Office Managers. Act as a leader among peers to support the growing team of admins at GRID Alternatives, growing a culture of efficiency, teamwork and a dedication to embodying EID values in our roles

- Experience in the EID work sphere
- Proven experience supporting leaders in an Executive Assistant (or related administrative) role
- Experience with Paycor, Paycom ATS and HRIS platforms are a plus but not required
