- Effectively use and promote all safety and environmental tools which include management of change.
- Conduct Daily Safety Observations, audits, and weekly safety inspections with the relevant supervisors as required
- Reporting and case management of injuries, incidents, and near misses
- Respond to injuries and illnesses with best practices, including, but not limited to, first aid, treatment at medical facilities, and follow-up medical visits.
- Organize workflow Conduct monthly alarm checks and equipment inspections
- Audit Confined Space Entry Permits
- Assist with coordinating and recording all safety training and e-learning for all personnel
- Coaching employees on safety behavior, correcting unsafe conditions, and best practices.
- Report observations to management and upload them to the Company’s portal Follow all safety procedures
- Update and maintain the HSE Alerts, HSE Notices, and Training bulletin board(s)
- Attend and lead safety meetings in the field alongside production supervisors
- Provide input to management on safety topics and training
- Actively participate in safety, departmental, pre-tour, client meetings, etc.
- Attend training as scheduled
- Perform other work tasks as assigned
Environmental
- Responsible for environmental compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to EPA/RCRA, US Fish and Wildlife, US Coast Guard, TCEQ, TXDOT, TX Parks and Wildlife, TX General Land Office, and Railroad Commission of Texas
- Perform tasks related to Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulatory hazardous waste handling, storage and disposal requirements
- Monitor and manage levels of hazardous waste at each department's satellite accumulation area
- Ensure all waste is properly labeled and stored according to its classification
- Record and maintain 90-day hazardous waste drum logs, hazardous waste sign in sheets, and VOC Solvent usage logs
- Perform all required hazardous waste and hazardous material storage area inspections
- Coordinate waste shipments with EHS Engineers, EHS Specialists, and waste disposal contractors
- Perform weekly storm water inspections per the SWPPP
