Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - FULL TIME
Summary: Join the Atlas team! The pharmacy tech will work closely with the pharmacist to help prepare and distribute medications, help maintain inventory, and keep accurate records. A successful Atlas Pharmacy Tech will have excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and be customer service oriented. Our pharmacy techs are also fantastic at being able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
NO NIGHTS! - NO WEEKENDS!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Pharmacist by assembling, stocking, and distributing medications.
- Process prescriptions and ensure that all information is accurate and complete.
- Comply with all state requirements, security measures, and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory, which includes sorting, stocking, and labeling.
- Help prepare compounded medications.
- Fill patient prescriptions with accuracy and care.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Professional and courteous
- Problem Solving skills
- Maintain confidentiality for both pharmacy and patients data.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge in basic computer systems
- Pharmacy Tech Certification
