Our client is a Confidential nation wide client in the High Tech manufacturer of sensors and connectivity components
Support the regional EHS Leader with managing the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System (MS) utilizing Velocity EHS software, documentation retention management, and safety culture practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Delivering, tracking, and monitoring EHS training
- Injury tracking and reporting
- Safety program management
- Implement occupational health and safety programs
- Conducting and document site risk assessments
- Enter and keep up to date conditions, audits, inspections, and action items on VelocityEHS
- Leading, tracking, and monitoring Gemba process
- Safety analytic tracking and trending
- Collecting and storing injury reports, environmental compliance metrics, and other data on Velocity EHS
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level*
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Business, Management, Communications, or a related field, and one (1) year of relevant experience to include EHS software platforms, technical writing, and developing / managing policies, procedures, instructions, and forms.
- Familiarity with EHS concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to organize and plan work efficiently.
- Ability to produce detailed reports utilizing VelocityEHS.
- Proficiency in word-processing, workbooks, and integrated software applications
- Communication skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with attention to detail and a flair for creating visually appealing and concise materials that convey EHS practices and principles utilizing PowerPoint software.
- Ability to create, review, and edit written communications.
- Creative skills: strong creative thinking and ability to translate complex EHS concepts into engaging training materials and videos.
- Proficiency in multimedia tools and software
- Collaborative spirit: Ability to work effectively with reporting manager, teams, and accept feedback to produce materials that meet stakeholder expectations.
- High level of transparency, credibility, integrity, and commitment to safety.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of OSHA and ability to reference and cooperatively use applicable occupational safety and health regulations and best practices to resolve identified issues
- Knowledge and ability to perform analysis accurately with consistency and quality
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions regarding occupational safety and health procedures
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of consultants, employees, management, and vendors
- Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
- Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Able to comply with all clean room protocols and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to resolve occupational safety and health issues effectively and efficiently
