The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Lead provides Financial Reporting, audit, tax and regulatory filing supports for the department. Work closely with other members of the Accounting and Finance Team. Knowledgeable of GAAP. Maintains a working knowledge of department standard operating procedures. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct. Supports the month end close consolidation process. Prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports and packages in a consistent and timely manner. Perform technical accounting research and assist with memo drafting. Provide supports during interim and year end audits. Assist with drafting the annual financial statements and footnotes. Coordinate tax and regulatory filings (990, 5500, etc.). Assist with Planful maintenance and report writing. This position also mentors and supports staff, handles high level projects, and works collaboratively with various teams/departments (i.e. Accounting, Finance).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, in Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 7 years overall accounting experience, with at least 3 years in Financial Reporting capacities
- Experience in complex close & reporting systems required
- Hospital/healthcare experience preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of general ledger system; Lawson/Planful experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Licenses
- CPA license preferred
