We are seeking an Education Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with child care providers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for regular on-site visits, fostering collaborative partnerships, and ensuring compliance with the Department of Education and Department of Health & Mental Hygiene.
The Education Specialist will support providers in interpreting data, implementing action plans, and enhancing the quality of curriculum to promote positive outcomes for children birth to three. Additionally, this role involves acting as a liaison between providers and the network to address their needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a schedule of regular visits to each Provider for monitoring and support.
- Cultivate collaborative and effective relationships with each Provider within the network.
- Support Providers in interpreting data and assist in creating and implementing action plan.
- Provide on-site technical assistance to help Providers create and implement high-quality curriculum tailored to children's needs.
- Foster a continuous and interactive process between Providers and staff to build a strong, empowering community responsive to feedback and needs.
- Build and maintain supportive professional relationships with staff, Providers, and families.
- Support regular communication, effective meetings, and workshops for Providers and families, addressing their specific needs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing quality improvement and personal professional development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working in a similar role within the child care or education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret data and assist providers in creating actionable plans.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
