Association Management Center seeks an Education Manager to join our team. This role supports AMC's clients, Council of Engineering and Scientific Society Executives (CESSE) and Awards and Personalization Association, (APA). The Education Manager role is hands-on, strategic in nature, and is an important educational connection point between the performance of the client team and its customers. Through efforts that include working with program committee volunteers as well as developing and managing educational programming its purpose is an integral part of supporting the operations of programs to provide revenue streams, add value to the membership offering and support the clients' missions and strategic goals.
This role is hybrid, 2 days per week onsite in Chicago, IL
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the call for proposal process as well as technical activities for implementing on-site conference programing
- Develop and analyze evaluation reports for programming
- Provide leadership and support as a liaison to committees and their members to ensure their goals are met
- Create project timelines by attending planning and organizational meetings to ensure projects are on schedule
- Assist in the budget planning process to ensure the development and implementation of revenue generating programs
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with internal staff, service teams and outside clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
- Degree: Bachelor's degree
- Years of Experience: 2-3 years
- Technology: Microsoft Office, Webinar software, Zoom, e-learning tools
- Travel: 2-3 times a year
- Soft skills: Strong customer service values, Detail-oriented, Time management, Professionalism, Team player attitude
- Physical: Sitting, Walking, Standing, Manual Dexterity, Hearing and Seeing. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
