Mid-sized women-owned Education Law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districts seeks two associates to join its Students and Special Education Practice Group – one position is located in the Long Beach office and the other position may be located in the East Bay or San Francisco office.Qualified candidates will have three or more years of experience, including the below qualifications:
- Litigation and/or administrative process experience, including handling discovery and preparing pleadings; experience in mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials a plus
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Education law experience and/or public entity experience preferred
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities, including administrative hearings litigation
- Admission to the California State Bar
