The Coordinator is responsible for booking tour groups and processing payments, providing customer service, completing administrative and clerical tasks, and maintaining the Educational Department's office files and paperwork.

Manages Bookings and Finances: processes purchase orders into the Automated Ticket System and requests approvals from Finance; books tours and inputs reservations into the Automated Ticket System; processes deposits, including credit card transactions, into the Automated Ticket System; tracks check requests to assure completed transactions; makes deposits to the company bank.
Provides Customer Service: ensures excellent customer service by handling department correspondence through email, phone and conventional mail; responds to guest inquiries; in conjunction with Education Manager addresses guest concerns.
Completes Administrative Duties: reviews and maintains the daily department paperwork and filing; copies, documents and files daily tour paperwork; generates and distributes reports, creates and maintains filing system for archived documentation, assists Manager with payroll timekeeping for department, creates tour itineraries in conjunction with Team Lead.
Assists with Department Management: Tracks inventory of office supplies and makes recommendations for purchases to supervision; completes necessary requisitions for departmental purchases and makes approved purchases; disseminates pertinent information to department personnel; uses two-way radio to monitor department calls and dispatches information to appropriate staff.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
