As Business Social continues to expand, strong cross-functional relationships are increasingly critical to the team’s ability to demonstrate and scale this impact across the entire organization. Partnership with key organizations within Business Marketing Group (BMG) has the potential to unlock huge branding moments for Meta via our global tentpole moments, scaled narratives and editorial content, the amplification of which can only be achieved through Business Social channels.


By bringing our teams closer together, we can augment the power of the work that’s already happening in a way that will materially move the needle on metrics that matter at the company level. Work of this level requires a strategic lead focused on deploying the team’s portfolio of resources in the most effective way.


Editorial Manager, Business Social Responsibilities

  • One of the principal liaisons between Content Studio and BMG to operationalize the partnership and rhythms of business
  • Refining and iterating on the assessment model for determining which events would be most impactful for the appropriate channels, aligning the cross-functional partners, leading ideation on creative content ideas, and putting together workback schedules to execute
  • Identify, qualify, and execute on opportunities to amplify global tentpole messaging, scaled narratives and editorial content tailored to specific audiences across appropriate Content Studio channels
  • Bring together appropriate resources from both Content Studio teams and relevant BMG teams to develop creative and innovative ways to amplify content that will resonate with the relevant audiences and maximize engagement and growth metrics
  • Design test and learn scenarios in order to quickly discover and scale best practices across Content Studio channels
  • Manage daily operations and multiple projects end-to-end, partnering with cross-functional teams to build work-stream roadmaps, set and track deliverables and deadlines
  • Help track team goals and work with multiple stakeholders on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and reporting results
  • Develop and execute internal marketing communications via regular Workplace group posts and email updates to relevant stakeholders, to communicate impact and progress to executive leadership
  • Sets weekly team meeting agendas, manages recaps and follows through with workstream action items
  • Manage and handle all budgeting decisions for Meta Prosper buy negotiating external contracts, onboard vendors and manage internal resources to ensure Prosper remains in good operating standing
  • Act as channel owner for Meta Prosper's social channels and fully own brand voice/look and feel, content ideation and development, managing agency resources for production and execution


Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience of managing medium to large scale projects
  • Experience with project management systems and tools, like Asana
  • Experience managing multiple projects end-to-end and partnering with cross-functional teams to build workstream roadmaps, set and track deliverables and deadlines
  • Self-motivated with experience working independently and on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with social content management: Agency management experience, copywriting and executive comms experience, presentation expertise
  • Experience at a brand with a social editorial presence: YouTube, Google, Microsoft, Apple
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Process-oriented and excellent communication skills

$122.000/year to $176.000/year + bonus + equity + benefits


Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
