Job Description:
Lawyer Herald is seeking a skilled and dedicated Editor to lead our editorial team. As the Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of high-quality, accurate, and engaging legal content. We are looking for an individual with a strong editorial background, a deep understanding of legal issues, and the ability to guide a team of writers in producing compelling and informative articles, analyses, and features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editorial Leadership: Provide clear editorial direction, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and adherence to Lawyer Herald's voice and style.
- Content Creation: Research, write, and edit compelling legal news articles, case analyses, legislation breakdowns, and feature stories.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of writers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their legal writing skills and expertise.
- Content Planning: Collaborate with the team to develop content ideas, plan editorial calendars, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest legal developments, landmark cases, and legislative changes to provide timely and relevant coverage.
- Quality Control: Ensure all content is well-researched, accurate, and optimized for SEO to enhance online visibility and reach a broader audience.
Requirements:
- Editorial Experience: Proven experience in editing and writing for legal publications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your legal writing skills.
