EDI/Data Entry Associate
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Experience Required: Familiarity with EDI process, computer competence.
We are looking for a friendly and responsible EDI/Data Entry Associate to join our team! This person will be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task successfully. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in managing the exchange of electronic business documents for all order transactions across our channels to ensure seamless communication between our company and partners.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Process documents using our ERP and EDI Systems for both E-Commerce and Wholesale customers
- Assist with resolving and troubleshooting failed transactions and issues received by partners that pertain to document transmission, chargebacks, missing segments, and non-compliance
- Ensure that daily orders are received on-time, accurately and completely and that orders are distributed to the warehouse as needed.
- Data entry for independent customers.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of EDI systems and new trading partnerships
- Serve as back-up for other areas in the department.
- Daily commuting to Moonachie, NJ. This is NOT a remote job.
- Normal start time 7 am. During peak times 6 am start time required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Participation with special projects and other miscellaneous duties and instructions as required
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working, hands-on, with EDI and order-flow roles within an e-commerce and wholesale environment
- Must have impeccable attention to detail and be tech savvy.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel and some working knowledge of e-Commerce channels (Commerce Hub, Inovis (Open Text), Amazon Vendor Central, Wayfair Partner Home)
- Some experience with EDI documents 856 ASN, 810 Invoice, 753 and 754 Routing requests, 870 PO changes, 850 Purchase Orders, 860 Purchase order change request, etc. and knowledge of protocols (AS2, SFTP)

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
