Job Description
The eCommerce Shipping Associate will execute key components in online order processing and shipping. Responsibilities include order processing, packaging, shipping, managing shipping materials, and supporting the needs of the Inventory Lead and the eCommerce Operations Specialist.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pulls and packs product based on daily orders
- Prepare shipments before carrier pickup and follow all packaging requirements
- Execute prompt order fulfillment with attention to detail
- Monitors product quality and report problems to inventory lead
- Implements problem-solving abilities and time-management skills in order to maximize productivity
- Maintains knowledge of and adheres to all compliance obligations, relevant work instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Including all environmental, health, and safety procedures and contingency plans, and actively participates in the identification and prompt reporting of possible hazards to maintain a safe, effective work environment
- Monitors and maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all personal workspaces, all warehouse/dock areas, company vehicles, and other general work areas.
- Communicates issues to the inventory lead lead as unforeseen situations arise.
- Actively pursues goals in order to increase growth and personal development
- Enhances teamwork by maintaining a courteous, responsible, professional, and positive attitude with customers and co-workers
- Takes initiative and seeks out additional tasks to increase productivity and growth
- Identifies Opportunities For Improvement (OFIs) and participates in process changes, as applicable
- Participates in staff meetings
- Completes assigned action items within timeframes
- Performs other duties as needed within the facility
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment to improve processes and solve problems
- Strong attention to detail and has the ability to react quickly if needed
- Time management skills, organized and a problem solver
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a demonstrated work ethic and strong attention to detail
- Experience with ShipStation is preferred
Physical/Travel Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
