The primary purpose of the Production Assistant is to assist Vision On Producers with their daily responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to the in-take and setup of new retouching jobs, monitoring the progress throughout the retouching workflow, and ensuring overall client needs are met.

Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with producers in person, by email, and on digital platforms
• Monitor production-related email accounts.
• Download and upload files via FTP or cloud services(Dropbox, Box, WeTransfer, Gdrive, Page proof)
• Process raw files in Capture One
• Review incoming jobs to ensure all assets are accounted for
• Communicate clear instructions to our retouching team
• Mark up images with client notes for our retouching team
• Monitor the progress and status of active jobs
• Automate processed in Photoshop
• Prepare jobs for final delivery
• Quality control final deliverables
• Minor retouching
• Participate in daily production meetings
• Archiving and record-keeping
• Office management tasks
• Digital asset management
• Support and assist producers in completing their responsibilities.

Relevant Work Experience:

• e-commerce retouching post-production experience
• Photographers Assistant
• Retouching or Post production studio assistant
• Design studio assistant
• Studio assistant

Education and skills needed to succeed in this position:

• Ability to follow directions and maintain organization
• Professional verbal and written communication skills

Software Knowledge:

• Photoshop and Adobe Suite(Lightroom, Illustrator, Acrobat, and After Effects)
• Google Workspace(G-sheets, Google docs, etc.)
• Capture One
• Transmit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
