JOB SUMMARY
The Ecommerce Media Supervisor oversees and leads a team of talented individuals in maximizing the value of our donation stream their team in the identification, authentication, appraisal and listing of media and other products to Goodwill’s online stores. The Ecommerce Media Supervisor maintains the responsibilities of the Associate, Specialist and Lead roles while overseeing daily and monthly goals for the team, diligently maintaining records and documentation, managing the team’s daily performance deliverables and striving to exceed sales goals. Additionally, the Ecommerce Media Supervisor acts as a key leader, guiding team members through coaching and corrective action. Reporting directly to the Ecommerce Manager, this role collaborates across multiple teams and departments to ensure product is tracked, delivered and processed in a timely manner
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead Ecommerce Media Team
- Manage all aspects of inbound and outbound media inventory including quality assurance
- Provides hands on training and mentoring of the media team through daily stand-ups, one-on-ones and coaching logs
- Participates in performance management conversations
- Provides Payroll support including but not limited to verification of timecards, schedule management, time off requests and reporting
- Assists in New Hire Orientation and all associated paperwork
- Responsible for daily production goals and quality of team’s work
- Maintain ongoing feedback loop with Retail Operations team regarding product quality and selection
- Authenticate, grade condition, measure, and standardize merchandise
- Prioritize and fulfill all sales channel production in a timely manner
- Focus on quality control procedures to ensure that every item is received correctly
- Grade and determine condition of non-media items based on customer satisfaction guidelines
- Prepare outbound shipments
- Complete daily log sheet for inbound items
- Standardize product and operation flow
- Store items in the warehouse with inventory management software
- Maintain the security of all merchandise and promote Loss Prevention procedures
- Create daily shipments for product coordinator, move product to & from each station
- Maintain consistent flow of product in each category
- Continually seek process improvement solutions
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of ecommerce experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a media related field is preferred
- Digital photography background is a plus
- Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus
- Must be able to type 40+ WPM
- Extensive knowledge in books and media is preferred
- Excellent in-person, phone, and electronic-based interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence and partner with diverse groups of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds
- Must be highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and various cloud-based office applications
- Ability to utilize self-learning systems
- Possess a professional demeanor, poise under pressure and time constraints with strong attention to detail, and well-developed time management skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period
