Ecommerce Director - Hybrid

DIRECTOR OF E-COMMERCE

We are a children's apparel company. Our headquarters is in Edison New Jersey, and our showroom is in Manhattan. We design, manufacture and distribute girls and boys licensed and private label separates and sets covering size ranges of newborn, infant, toddler, through 6X/7. Our distribution is diverse and covers mass, discount, moderate, club and department store along with a growing e-com business.

We are seeking a dynamic self-starter to help carry our existing e-com business to new heights.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Set and manage sales goals and quotas by channel/platform
• Study historical data on listings and items to inform decision-making on new item development and replenishment buys
• Identify growth opportunities within our brands, categories, and selling platforms
• Enhance listing content and build strong product driven listings
• Monitor and manage advertising spend on a daily basis
• Monitor and manage inventory flow from factory to warehouse to FC/consumer
• Monitor inventory levels and selling patterns to inform investment decisions
• Field compliance, trademark, and other similar issues to avoid listing deactivation
• Serve up weekly updates to C-Suite on all deliverables

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years experience working with Amazon Seller Central and/or other ecommerce platforms
• Must possess strong organizational skills to be able to manage all aspects of the e-commerce business, from big picture strategy to drill down detail
• Must possess strong follow up skills to ensure deadlines are met and processes are moving along across multiple touch points.
• Knowledge of character licensing; Disney, Warner Brothers, Hasbro, Marvel are a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications, and fluent enough to pickup other ecom related softwares and plug ins as needed
• ERP software experience a plus, Simparel-Exenta, other.
• Must possess ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude.
