Director of eCommerce Omnichannel

Job Summary:

As the Director of eCommerce at Safilo N.A., you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive omni-channel eCommerce strategy. You will lead a team selling through D2C and third parties’ digital platforms. You will build online merchandising strategies, content management, promotional strategy, and third-party vendor relationships. Your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring our portfolio brands online presence remains competitive and innovative.

Responsibilities:

• Omni-Channel Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive omni-channel eCommerce strategy to optimize sales across multiple online platforms.
• Direct E-commerce: Oversee the D2C online presence of Safilo NA fully owned brands (e.g., Carrera, Prive’, Polaroid) to drive revenue.
• Other e-retailers: Collaborate with channel leaders to define sales strategies across other digital channels including third-party marketplaces and wholesale B2B customers with online presence to drive revenue growth and ensure adequate brand equity protection.
• Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop digital assets and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, to drive traffic and conversion.
• Customer Experience: Continuously improve the online customer experience, including website usability, product information, and customer support, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, monitor KPIs, and regularly report on eCommerce performance to the executive team.
• Technology and Innovation: Stay current with eCommerce trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our online platforms remain competitive and innovative.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a positive ROI.
• Team Leadership: Develop organizational omni-channel capabilities, build and lead a high-performing eCommerce team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in eCommerce management with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of omni-channel eCommerce.
• Strong experience with eCommerce platforms, CMS, and analytics tools.
• Proficient in digital marketing strategies and tactics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
