Job Summary
- Responsible to provide quality cardiac and peripheral vascularultrasound scans as directed by a physician.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Mission and Avera's values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school in a related health care field (i.e. Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology).
- Registered as a diagnostic sonographer and/or registered echocardiography technologist with an accrediting body such as the ARRT or ARDMS
- Obtains BLS Certification 90 days of hire.
- 2-3 years' experience is preferred in adult cardiac echo.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; PRN
- Consistent Schedule. No Holidays/weekends/Call.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
- $25.00 - $37.75 per hour
