Radiology Ultrasound Technologist - General/Vascular

This position will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under the Director of Radiology's direction and the radiologist's technical direction.
Relief positions available.
Other responsibilities include:
- Produce two or three-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians to diagnose disease and study malfunction of organs
- Key test data and patient information into a computer of ultrasound equipment to maintain a record of test results
- Operate the department computer system for scheduling and billing procedures
- Operate PACS system to ensure all images are verified and sent
- Start IVs and administers IV contrast and/or medication when a patient requires medication
- Share call responsibilities in Ultrasound
- Maintain supply inventory
- Report equipment malfunction to the Radiology Director, and reports safety concerns to appropriate personnel

Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent from an AMA-approved ultrasound technology school.
Holds or is eligible for certification by the ARDMS or RDCS.
Holds or is eligible for certification by the ARDMS or RDCS.
