Early On - Home Visitor/Family Consultant
(Up to 40 hours per week)
REPORTS TO:
Assistant Superintendent of Special Education and Early On Coordinator
STARTING DATE:
As soon as possible
QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associates degree in the area of counseling and/or early childhood preferred.
2. Experience working with infants, toddlers and families.
3. Knowledge of child development.
4. Excellent oral, written and listening skills.
5. Ability to adhere to deadlines with paperwork and home visits.
6. Willing to attend professional development.
7. The ability to be kind, compassionate and nonjudgmental.
8. Must be reliable which includes having reliable transportation.
9. Must have high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality in working relationships and job functions.
10. Work within the Early On team to support families with consult and support.

JOB OBJECTIVES:
To provide services to families with children ages birth to three within their natural environment. Will be responsible for completing the required paperwork and will meet deadlines according to the federal special education rules and regulations (IDEA). Will promote the Early On program by being visible at planned community activities.
