POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Early Career Program- Sales Professional to join our sales team in Houston, Texas. This role is a 24- month learning program providing new college graduates with a unique opportunity to focus on a career in Field Sales. This role will take a deeper look into our sales organization and provide opportunities to solve complex business challenges. This program includes a hands-on training approach to develop early talent professionals to equip them for higher level roles within our organization as key contributor(s) or prepare them for leadership roles. This position will start out as a remote role but under the requirements may have to relocate upon hire and graduation.

Compensation includes: $55,000 annually with a 25% sales incentive (additionally, this program will be remote with frequent travel in different cities in the United States and travel assistance will be provided). This is a remote position that must be based out of Houston, Texas or in the surrounding area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Sales Development professionals will train in the areas of: Field Sales, Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, Customer Service, and Inside Sales
  • Build account plans for regions identified in the US and demonstrate the ability to research market opportunities
  • Train with our Sales team during sales meetings to assist with the development of presentations, sales quotes, and market analysis for our business customers
  • Observe our sales team and learn business strategies to provide support to our tenured sales team and business customers
  • Learn and utilize our Sales Systems such as Show pad, Salesforce and other field sales programs/software

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

  • College Degree or equivilant work experience
  • Extensive travel required, 50-75%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Relocation to key designated market and assume field sales duties at the end of the 24 Month Assignment (or when requested)
