E-Commerce Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Ecommerce Specialist to develop and carry out our strategic online development plans for thehairshop.com. This individual will support the E-Commerce Manager with reporting, site maintenance, product + promotional execution, digital marketing campaigns, and day-to-day ecommerce operations.

Essential Functions

• Enhance online shopping experience from acquisition to post-purchase through website optimizations, user flow improvements, and content updates
• Maintain & execute website updates in support of key campaigns & launches: Web banners, landing pages, product uploads, promotion creation, UGC & reviews management
• Deploy all email and SMS campaigns, including building emails from templates, copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling
• Optimize retention strategies via loyalty program and customer segmentation to drive growth and engagement throughout the customer journey
• Monitor & analyze key website metrics, including traffic, conversion rate, and engagement to inform UX/UI enhancements driven by data
• Collaborate closely with operations team to streamline order processing and maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Act as liaison to help resolve customer, site, or product related issues with Customer Service team to ensure optimal user experience
• Conduct competitor and market research to stay on top of ecommerce trends and best practices

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Ecommerce & Email Marketing required.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with a customer focused approach
• Comprehensive understanding of beauty industry is a plus
• Proven experience in UX/UI design, conversion rate optimization, and A/B testing
• Familiar with Front-End Web Development (HTML & CSS)
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
