The Opportunity

Come join IGN as an E-commerce specialist supporting the growing IGN Store team!

 

Key Responsibilities

 

This E-Commerce specialist's day-to-day work is focused on building and optimizing IGN Store product description pages, merchandising the store's homepage and collection pages, opening and closing key product pre-orders, and processing vendor purchase orders. This role will also contribute to other general IGN Store operations, including managing Shopify application functionality and setting up and optimizing automated Shopify flows.

 

Responsibilities:

• Create new product listings, managing tags and other structured data, and site navigation strategy 

• Use Google Analytics and other tools to analyze customer behavior to inform and make recommendations around marketing, customer experience, and site navigation

• Support digital marketing strategies with asset creation, and homepage management to enhance brand presence and drive website performance around promotional calendar

• Generate reports, providing insights and recommendations to meet business needs and improve website performance

• Execute purchase orders

• Launch and remove products

Job Qualifications

• Previous Shopify plus experience with a focus on consumer-focused e-commerce is required

• Ability to write effective product description copy

• Experience managing a large product catalog and multiple vendor partners

• Proficient in using analytical tools such as Google Analytics or equivalents to make data-driven decisions

• High level of independent initiative, able to drive forward multiple concurrent projects

• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams

• Understanding of e-commerce site architecture and online merchandising

• Personal familiarity with current video games, comic books, and anime

• Previous experience with SEO optimization/SEM is a bonus

• Experience with graphic design and/or banner/asset creation is a bonus

• Basic knowledge of web development/rudimentary HTML is a bonus

Salary Disclosure: Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000-$70,000, plus incentive compensation (for eligible roles only), 401K with company match, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a flexible time off policy.
