SUMMARY
In 2021 Price Chopper/Market 32 merged with Tops Markets and together became subsidiaries of Northeast Grocery, Inc., along with our back office operation, Northeast Shared Services. We operate supermarkets in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire and are comprised of nearly 300 stores, several warehouse and distribution centers, and approximately 30,000 teammates and associates. Northeast Shared Services provides business services and support to both the Tops and Price Chopper/Market 32 operating companies.
The Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of ecommerce marketing initiatives. The role is positioned in Northeast Shared Services which supports both Price Chopper/Market 32 and Tops Markets. The operational focus of this role will be dedicated to the Tops Markets operating company. This position is an integral part of the digital marketing team and works closely with operations, merchandising, and customer affairs to advance user experiences, reporting and analytics. The Ecommerce Specialist will assist in shaping and managing their part of the overall ecommerce experience. This candidate must be highly collaborative, creative, and a detail-oriented problem solver with a bias for action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary point of contact and lead trainer for Store Operations teams. Creates training materials, maintains store ecommerce equipment needs, and conducts in-store training for existing and future ecommerce partnership rollouts.
- Liaison to ecommerce site managing partners (Instacart, DoorDash, and others).
- Ensure in-store policies, procedures and operations are followed and reflected across our digital footprint.
- Provide solutions to optimize ecommerce content, attract new users, and improve consumer experience that results in loyal shoppers.
- Assist Ecommerce Manager in researching business expansion opportunities.
- Maintain in-store signage and other needs in collaboration with design teams and managers at the store level (i.e. staging areas, pickup areas, parking lots).
- Assist with promoting websites and apps to target consumers and industry partners by deploying digital ad activations and other sales drivers.
- Escalation point of contact for ecommerce consumers' feedback regarding product integrity and pickup or delivery experiences.
- Oversight and assistance to the team that maintains website assets in collaboration with merchandising and design teams. Subject matter expert on catalog functionality.
- Monitor, record, and report on asset integrity.
- Collaborate with internal analysts and other appropriate teams in the development of effective product integrity reporting process, which includes trends and alerts.
- Provide data to support reporting on ecommerce analytics to senior management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, integrated digital marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant Ecommerce retail experience, ideally grocery.
- Customer service, product marketing, content marketing experience required.
- Personal accounts in Meta and others required. Admin knowledge is also required.
- Instacart knowledge is preferred.
- Google Analytics experience required and experience with additional business analytics systems preferred.
- Advertising/Marketing/Sales reporting experience required.

Pay: $62,684.00 - $97,159.00 per year
