The E-commerce Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving the success of our online presence for retail platforms such as Amazon, Amazon Global, Walmart, and Target through successful digital marketing campaigns. This role works cross-functionally with existing sales and marketing teams to drive traffic and increase sales on e-commerce platforms and requires a deep understanding of e-commerce trends and search engine algorithms.
What you will do:
Marketing Campaigns:
- Develop and execute result-driven marketing campaigns to drive traffic and increase sales on e-commerce platforms.
- Utilize pay per click advertising tools and features provided by Amazon, Walmart, and Target to create targeted and effective campaigns.
- Setup and maintain compelling and cohesive brand stores on e-commerce platforms and showcase updated product catalog and brand story.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Generate regular reports to provide insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
Competitor Analysis:
- Provide insights and recommendations based on competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes
- Communicate findings effectively to key stakeholders, including management, marketing teams, and product development teams.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales account leads and marketing, to ensure alignment and coherence in marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with external marketing platforms to stay abreast of trends and utilize best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
No Supervisor Responsibilities
What we look for:
- Bachelors degree in business or other relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce marketing, with a focus on one or more major platforms (amazon, target, Walmart)
- Strong understanding of latest concepts, tactics, strategy and best practices, focusing on driving reach and efficiency
- Demonstrated success in planning, executing, and optimizing multiple marketing campaigns on e-commerce platforms, including a comprehensive understanding of advertising tools and features
- Data and analytics skillset with strong foundation on utilizing Excel
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability
- Ability to form strong professional relationships with diverse people at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience in creating and managing brand stores on Amazon
- Toy or comparable CPG industry experience
- Experience in a global company
- Multilingual a plus
