We are looking for an Ag Sales/Broadcaster who will oversee all agricultural aspects of our PNW Ag Network brand. You have all the tools at your fingertips including great talent, ag research and scheduling, production resources, digital tools, and a passionate local team. We are looking for someone who can take this rising station and continue to raise and cultivate its community image. This position requires someone with a deep understanding of the Ag format, with a passion for the local community.
You will be responsible for promoting the PNW Ag Network on-air, online and through social platforms. To accomplish this, you will work with our Farm Director on preparing local Ag Reports, run interview with local producers, and sell digital and on-air ads/sponsorships to local ag-related businesses.

Responsibilities

• Co-host PNW Ag Network
• Write and publish a minimum of 2 original, locally relevant articles each day
• Engage daily with your audience via the station mobile app and the station's social accounts including Facebook, Twitter, and more
• Incorporate content from the station's digital platforms into your on-air show
• Conducts on-air interviews, attend, and assist in all market cluster live events
• Selling digital and on-air ads/sponsorships to local ag-related businesses
• Able to voice track or go live on one or more radio stations when needed, vacation relief, sick days or in case of emergency

Qualifications

• Radio Broadcast experience (required)
• NexGen, Zetta, and G-Selector experience (preferred)
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills
• Expert problem-solving and multi-tasking ability, highly dependable
• Competitive nature, a passion for winning
• Digitally savvy, enjoys engaging with audiences on multiple platforms
