Primary Function:

Drivers are responsible for transporting construction materials, such as rocks, sands, dirt, wood, heavy equipment, garbage, and junk supplies from one place to the assigned destination, ensuring the efficiency of deliveries within the agreed time.

· Compliance with all road /transport rules and company policies.

· Comfortable using GPS equipment.

· Ensuring that you are always fit to maneuver the truck.

· Ability to drive safely, irrespective of the weather or time of day.

· Ability to load and unload loads/equipment.

· Ensuring that the truck has sufficient fuel at all times.

· Informing your manager of potential delays.

· Keeping track of all reasonable expenses and submitting proof thereof to obtain refunds.

· Completing, storing, and submitting all necessary documentation.

· Reporting all vehicle-related issues for urgent attention.

· Inspect trucks and record issues.

· Follow accident procedures.

· Keep activities log and log hours.

Qualifications:

• Must have CDL and have obtained it for 1 year.
• Complete Road Test
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Pass Employment Pre-Screen drug test.
• A Medical Certificate (Med Card) is required.

Education, Skill, and / or Experience Requirements:

• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to self-manage / self-motivate.
• Flexible schedule (weekends or overtime).
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $0.48 - $0.63 per mile
