A part-time hourly position, non-SBCC current student, no more than 19.5 hours per week and no more than 175 days per fiscal year; early morning start required (6:30 - 7:00am). Under the coordination of the DSPS Service Provider, the DSPS Test Center Assistant will:
Print and assemble all tests and related documents and materials received and/or generated electronically using assigned software (Clockwork) including:
- Tests and related documents
- Daily Exam List
- Individual Test Tracking Sheets
- Mailing Envelopes
Monitor and update electronic test booking spreadsheet as test materials are delivered
- Mark tests as delivered
- File test materials accordingly
- Add/edit instructor proctoring instructions on Clockwork
Assist in sorting completed test envelopes to be returned or picked up by the instructor
Scan and electronically archive all completed Test Tracking Sheets to student’s files in Clockwork
Monitor and maintain designated Group e-mail
Monitor and assist with private room assignment and reservation for approved students
Monitor and assist with test and related document font enlargements for approved students.
Troubleshoot with students and instructors, in person, via email and/or over the phone with issues related to test booking.
Manage inventory of test supply materials; fill paper trays, request paper orders, toner, staples and other test materials including, envelopes, labels, paper clips etc.
Final Exams week will require flexible schedule.
Occasionally may assist students with proctoring, reading, scribing or notetaking.
Assist DSPS Test Center Coordinator with other DSPS Test Center related projects that may arise.
